Ashley and I saw Up In The Air at this great, slightly ghetto/completely charming movie theater in Endicott. I loved this sign.

The sky looked like it was on fire. So excellent.

Much to the dismay of the many egg lovers that I know, I have neverrrrrrr in my life enjoyed eating an egg. I know, it's blasphemy. Lately, however, I've been making so many egg white omelets!

"Don't ever tell anybody anything. If you do, you start missing everybody."
A tribute. Rest peacefully, Mr. Salinger. You wrote the best god damned book ever.

We went to Target to buy rain boots, and instead both walked away with cute sandals. Can you tell that we're so done with Winter?

My first attempt at e-mailing myself photos from my phone. Exciting. Nikki F. Baby holding a $12 dollar notebook that she didn't end up buying. We love shopping for school supplies.

Back in Binghamton. I get to hang out with these faces and all my babies everyday. I am the happiest girl.

The awesome dinner I made tonight. I'm going to miss being home, but I'm pretty excited to get back to Binghamton tomorrow! :)

Hastily taken shot (with lots of flash) of Melyssa and our free popcorn (!!) juuuuust before the lights went down at the movies.

My new external hard-drive finally came! I vow to be extremely careful and backup everything this time around.

This photo documents a rare event in the Fontanella household -- everyone sticking around long enough to play a board game. After dinner tonight, my mom suggested we all play a few rounds of Scattergories (strangely addicting) before we headed off to our respective destinations for the evening, and for once, everyone agreed. We played for awhile, and it was really fun. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that my mom came in first place.

This is the delicious salad that I made for lunch! It's healthy and great -- basically the best thing ever. Yum.

Typical weeknight dinner at the Fontanella house: my dad's the last one left at the table who is actually eating, and James is procrastinating in some odd way (pictured: playing with his new phone, contorting his body at the dinner table) in order to avoid putting on his pajamas, finishing his homework, cleaning his room, etc. Eating dinner together is something we've always done -- it's a nice thing to come home to.

A very bored Tom, during a day where we mostly sat in the back room and bullshitted. A lot of the seasonals are already back at school, which makes work even more terrible than it is to begin with.

Following the Great Tragedy of 2009 (when all my photos and a good chunk of my music got deleted from my external hard drive), I've decided it's time to start putting things back together. My newly refurbished hard drive should be here any day now, and so I spent a large part of today making a list of the albums that I need to put back into my collection. Oh, and those are my cool new nail polishes.

That's me and my new friend Jay, and our awesome, red Chuck Taylors. This night was full of yummy, interesting flavored beers, music and hysterical laughter, topped off by some half-priced appetizers at Applebee's. Superb.

4:46 pm. Sunset over the Town Hall employee parking lot. It's usually dark by the time I get out of work, so this beautiful sky was a pleasant surprise and a welcome reminder that the days are getting longer (albeit by seconds, but I'll take it.)

This is my dad, wearing his new headphones, a Christmas present from my mom. He loves them, and I think they're great because it's hilarious to walk past the den and just see him sitting in his favorite chair with them on, and the sound on the television muted.

4 January 2010

Work at Town Hall is painfully boring. Doing the daily Newsday crossword with my favorite co-workers is the only thing that keeps me sane. Even though Monday's is really easy and only takes about 10 minutes.

This is a picture of our street (and there's my jeep!) -- it was freezing out when I took this photo. It's hard to see in this picture, but the wind was blowing the snow in tiny little circles in the street. It looked awesome.

These are my two youngest brothers, Mike and James. They usually wrestle like this whenever they get the chance, and they especially like to do it on long(ish) car rides. My parents can't stand it, but I think it's hilarious. They're thirteen and fourteen, which makes it even more interesting.

My "To-Do" List in all its epic glory. The first day of this year was extremely productive for me, which I'm happy about. I always feel that the way in which a year starts off is how it will continue -- here's hoping.
